Q: 1994 camaro?
have a 1994 camaro with a flowmaster on the back, what can i be putting on this thing to make it go/sound/look awsome

A: you could try some of those LED lights on the tip,

Q: 1994 Camaro?
ok so i bought a 1994 camaro and it is already set up for a carburated motor. the guy before me had a 350 in it. Im putting a 305 in it with a turbo 400. Would the car be really fast? Do you think it would beat a 3.8L V6 supercharged car? Say the Buick Riviera supercharged?

A: 305 is more like what you want people to THINK you have in a drag race. I would go with a Chevy 383 Small Block, than turbocharge/supercharge that sucker(whichever you prefer)

Q: How much would a 1994 Camaro z28 be to insure for a 18 year old?
I am 18 and my friend is willing to give me a good deal on his 1994 Camaro z28. I have had my license since i was 16 and have had no tickets, accidents, or anything of that sort. I have a good driving record. I live in Michigan and i was wondering how much around would i be looking at for insurance? I only want PLPD since i can fix them myself.

A: A lot. Young male with a fast car means your insurance will be very high.

Q: How much does it cost to insure a new driver driving a 1994 Camaro?
I’m thinking about buying a 1994 Camaro for $3995. I’m a new 16 year old driver. How much is it going to cost to insure this car?

A: I recommend you this site where you can compare quotes so you can find the best option for you

Q: 1994 Camaro will not start once it is warm?
I have a 1994 Camaro Z28 that was running rough at one point then I corrected that, now I have this problem that if the car is cold it will run and run fine then as soon at it gets warm and I stop it will not restart. It will not restart until the next morning which means it takes along time for it to cool down. All things have been changed such as the basics, starter coil, plugs, caps etc. I am lost for what this maybe. I am in college and really need this car to run to go to work

A: check the fuel system and the vacuum lines.

Q: Where can I find a 383 stroker for my 1994 Camaro?
I have a 1994 Camaro that is already set up for the engine. I have a TH400 with it too. Anyone know where I can find either a 350 or 383 stroker engine?

A: Here’s the 100 dollar question – are you rebuilding it to LT1 specs, or is this going to be a Gen I 383? I was going to go this way when I replaced the motor in my ‘95 (just did it two weeks ago), and decent 383 LT1’s are getting to be both a little scarce and a little pricey. Being that you have a TH400, I’m assuming you’re going “old school”. If so, you can’t go wrong with Scoggin Dickey or Jeg’s/Summit (although the latter two seem to be a little pricier). A good start is the 383 with the vortecs.
If you have your LT1 and its in decent shape, you may find its cheaper to shoot for a 383 rebuild on the stock block, if you can find a good performance shop.
I ended up going with a stock 350 LT1 long block from Jasper. It was 2700 bucks pan to intake, but the good news is its a 3yr 100k warranty on the engine.
Oh, by the way, I totally recommend the BBK headers, if you haven’t already sprung for them. They bolted in without a single hitch, with only a 5″ chuck sawed off the pre-cat pipe to slip fit them, and I had to remove the plastic off of the steering shaft to keep it from melting.

Q: Where can I find digital gauges for a 1994 Camaro?
I’m trying to find a set of digital gages like the ones from Fast and Furious for a 1994 camaro. Do they make them for that year and if they do where can i find them?

A: Try Dakota Digital.

Q: 1994 camaro?
my third brake light works when i touch the brakes but the lower brake lights do i have change all the blubs but no lower brake lights what so ever

A: I own a shop, and think you must have a loose connection in the wires at the back of the vehicle, or you have blown bulbs. It may also be as simple as the ground wire (that comes from the brake lights) is not getting a ground to the frame. You may have to remove the wire, clean it good with a wire brush, add some grease, and attach it back, before the lights work again. Test the bulbs with a battery to see that they are good, and the sockets where they go must also be corrosion free, and making good contact. On the side of the connectors you will see the ground, clean this, and the hole where it goes with fine grit sandpaper, and add a small amount of lithium grease to keep the corrosion down.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!

Q: is it possible to put true dual exhaust on a 1994 camaro z28?
I was told by the guy that does my exhaust told me that you cant put true dual exhaust on a 1994 camaro because of the rear axle. So if anybody knows whether you can do this or not let me know because I think it is possible.

A: Yes you can, but routing the exhaust is a pain in the ass. You will need to find a custom exhaust/speed shop cause norm exhaust shops can’t/won’t get it right

You can fit dual 2.25″ over the rear axle, of if you want larger you have a couple of options. You can get a upper panhard bar reloction bracket to move the upper bar,

Or you can just stop the pipes before the rear axle and use turn downs on them.

Now of my third gen (1988 camaro) I run larger rear tires and stiff springs for drag use so my rear is high enough I ran my dual pipes under the rear axle.

Q: Will rims off a 1985 or so Corvette fit on a 1994 Camaro z28?
I was wondering if rims off a 1985 Corvette fit on a 1994 Camaro z28?

A: Neither of the above answers will help you much.
Not all Chevy 5-bolt wheels have the same spacing.

The number of lugs is important. I’d like to see responder number two try to mount a six lug wheel on a 5 lug hub.

To determine if the rims fit (since both are 5 lug patterns) you have to measure between lug #1 and #3. That is how spacing is determined. If your hub and the rim have the same measurement the wheels will fit.

An easier way is to just call your local tire shop and they will tell you for free.

Q: How long does a 1994 Chevy Camaro last on average?
I’m wondering about how many miles will a 1994 Chevy Camaro last? Not based on how it is maintained, just on average how long do they last?

A: There are two engines available on it, a V6 and a V8
The V8 is generally considered to be more reliable (about 140000 vs 120000 miles) is average, but with GM it’s a crapshoot: either really good or really crappy car

yeah average 140000 but standard deviation is like 200000!!!!!!

Q: How many motor and tranny mounts does a 1994 v6 Camaro have?
Can anybody tell me how many engine mounts a 1994 v6 camaro has. Also how many tranny mounts? If you ever had to replace them, what was the cost?

A: it has two motor mounts there about $20 a Peace they have one trans mount $30 but it has a stabilizer that goes from trans to rear end not sure how much it cost

Q: How much would it cost to paint a 1994 chevy camaro?
im looking to buy a 1994 Chevy Camaro and its a mahogany reddish color, a color that i really do not like, and im looking to go to a Maaco and buying a new paint job. and i was just wondering how much it would cost me.

A: That depends on how much paint you want, how much you want painted (the engine compartment and sheet metal underneath the interior will still be that ugly red), how many layers it’ll take/you’ll want, and of course, the main killer, labor.
Plus, you’ll want a quality paint job, otherwise you’ll regret it. If you go to Maaco and get a cheezy $500 paint job, it’ll show. The paint might be cloudy, body parts might not match, there could be bubbles in the paint, etc.
If you want a high-quality paint job, you’ll have to shoot for the 4-figure area.

In the end, it would be better to look for another ‘94 Camaro. You could at least get a color you like if you keep looking, and God knows there’s tons of them out there if you look.
I suggest going to http://www.craigslist.com or http://www.autotrader.com (both sites I used when I was looking for my ‘98 Camaro). If you live in the OC area of California, you can also check out the Recycler. Some good cars go through there.
Never settle for less than the best, even if you have to look for a while. I spent two months looking for my Camaro, and my dad spent 6 months looking for his.

Q: Better mileage in my 1994 v6 camaro automatic?
I want to know how to get better mileage in my 1994 v6 camaro automatic. I have been driving slow have the tires pumped all the way. Ive been thinking about new intake and exhaust, but does that work. Little help please.

A: I own a ‘95 Z28 v8 Camaro and i improved my milage for under $300 from aprox. 18mpg to nearly 25mpg.

Check it out.

I swapped my stock intake for a $245 cold air intake….
Replaced Air, oil, and fuel filters… ($40 if you do the work yourself)
And now i run premium or plus whenever i can and add a fuel line cleaner about once ever three months with my oil change. Try it it may work for you too.

Q: can i take parts off a 1999 camaro v6 and put on my 1994 camaro v6?
