Q: What is a good amount of miles a used 1988 chevrolet camaro iroc-z have?

A: It’s assumed the average driver puts 12K miles on a vehicle each year. Therefore a 21 year old car would have 252,000 miles under that assumption..
But, a lot of Camaro’s are either summer or hobby cars so many of them have much less mileage than that.

Q: how much will the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe worth?
the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro is coming out in the spring of 2009. when it first comes out the price will be $23,000.00 (23 thousand dollars). I was wondering how much the price will drop by 2011. for how much would i be able to buy a used 2010 Camaro Coupe in 2011?

A: From the dealer as a trade in? Not too much. But if you can find one locally- it will have lost tons of value. You could probabley find one for 14 locally after a year. At the dealer, a couple grand less- probabley 18 at the least.

Q: should i buy or get a classic mustang or 1967 Chevrolet Camaro?or should i buy just used car?

A: You are 16 and want to buy a classic pony car? They don’t come cheap, older cars aren’t incredibly reliable, and as others have said, the insurance is going to be massive. They aren’t incredibly fuel efficient either. Do you know how to drive stick? Because they are going to be manual transmission. If you really need a car, then don’t be too picky. Just find a nice used car, preferably a newer one, and make sure you can afford it. And wait for a while before buying a classic. I’ve heard too many stories about classics being sold and totalled the next day by inexperienced drivers.

Q: type of gasoline for 2010 chevrolet camaro?
I was wondering what type of fuel does the 2010 camaro use? premium, regular, or what?

A: I know that Premium is recommended.

With such a high compression ratio, i wouldnt even think about running anything less than premium

I want to buy HID light for my 1995 trans am but I could only find the bulbs for a 1995 camaro can I still use it since most of their parts are the same????

A: yes. all of the bulbs as exactly the same in both cars.

I have a 1991 Chevrolet Camaro and when I go over speed bumps, the bumper scrapes the ground… Someone has offered to swap me for their 1987 Camaro bumper… I am wondering if I can use the ‘87 model or not…

A: check with a body shop to see if the application of the other one will work. I dislike scraping bumpers too, it’s annoying.

Q: Is there going to be a right hand drive version of the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro?
Camaros and Firebirds used to be manufactured also with right hand drive setups for the Australian market. Will that be the case again?
Will we be seeing the new Camaro down here in New Zealand and Australia?

A: Yes there will be, however the right hand drive version will be converted from a left hand drive version by Queensland vehicle importer Performax International. GM was originally going to produce a right hand version in the states for export to UK, Japan, South Africa and Australia in 2011, however those plans were scratched due to GM’s current financial outlook. Q: How much does a Chevrolet Camaro cost?
I wanted to get a camaro that looks like bumblebee from transformers. i don’t want the real thing they used for the movie but one like it. and i know that you can order them off the internet and get them personalized, but does anyone know how much that would cost me???

A: You can get a car that looks like bumblebee for about $23000 sticker, You can get a car that looks and will have the engine that was in the one in the movie for about $40000 sticker. I would wait a few months for the demand to die back some most dealers are talking about 20000 over sticker for the high end cars but as with the charger that will soon wear off. waiting will save yourself money and wait for the demand to die just a bit once it does go in and order one from the factory at your local chevy dealer.

Q: How much does a motor cost for a 98 chevrolet camaro?
I found one for $600 and the owner says everything else is good but the motor needs work. Is it worth buying and getting a motor or should I find another car to purchase? Looking for a good used car.

A: If the only thing needing work is the engine, he would have fixed it and either kept it or sold it for more. In a non running condition you can’t check it out,so I guarantee it needs more than he claims. That being said, it may be worth fixing if you like camaro’s. The cost of an engine will vary depending on the size and whether you will need to have it installed or plan on doing it yourself.

Q: 1997 Ford F-150 vs. 1995 Chevrolet Camaro? First car?
I am 16. It will be my first car. My dad has the F-150, or i might get a used Camaro (v6). The truck is a bit big for my first car. it’s also a 4.6L V8. the camaro would be a 3.4L from that year with 50+ less horsepower than the F-150. it would still be slightly faster, but i like how the camaro looks more anyway.

A: Most insurance companies charge a higher premum for cars classed as sports cars (the Camaro is classed that way). They also charge a higher premium for trucks if they are a 4×4. the biggest question you should be asking is which is more practical where you live. If you live in the city and never leave good paved roads the camaro is the better choice and will be better on fuel, if you travel bad roads and need to haul things around the truck will handle that better and be more useful.

I want to buy a 2010 Certified Chevrolet Camaro. Not a new one, neither a used one. So i wanted to get an idea of how long does it usually take for a car to come to the certified market after it came to the market. 2010 camaro started selling in April 09, so its been 10 months now. How long before it comes to the certified market?

A: they are already out, dealers can get them at the auction and then go through the certification process, there are plenty of them running through the auctions.

A: Which one? The older one or newer one?

The camaro was made from 1967 to 2002, then restarted just now with a new 2009 (or is it being called a 2010?) model.

67-69 is 1st gen, 70-81 is second gen, 82-92 is third gen, 93-02 is 4th gen and the new 2010 is the 5th gen

In the movie transformers They used 2 camaros, a mid second gen (I think 1976), and a new 5th gen which just now went on sale in the last week.

For the older second gens yeah still plenty of them on the roads, but they are classic cars now and alot of people restoring them and useing as fair weather cars only.. Check out www.nastyz28.com its a second gen site with message board for 70-81 camaro owners

The new 2010 has just been released so it will be a few mo. before you see alot of them on the roads
