Find new and used Chevy Camaro for sale at our automotive classifieds and Cars for Sale website Classifieds.Sub5Zero.com

Q: Where can i find a 1969 chevy camaro for sale in seattle, washington?
Does anyone know how i can find a 1969 Chevy Camaro for sale in seattle, washington area?
Ive been looking all over and i cant find one for a decent price. im looking to spend 5000-20,000 dollars
If you guy can help me find it i would appreciate it.
I would prefer to buy it in person rather than online though

A: Try craigslist or autotrader.

Q: Why can’t i find a 2009 Chevy Camaro for sale?
Its like they fell off the face of the earth.
Thanks…I knew they started coming out in 09 again…but wasn’t 100% sure if they were listed as 2010s or 2009s….Thanks all

A: 2009 camaros dont exist, they stopped making them in 2002 and the camaros came back in 2010, so you have to find a 2010 camaro

Q: does any one know when they will launch the chevy camaro for sale?
im interested in buying the comaro but there is no specifics about when it wil be launched

does anyone have a concrete date???

A: 2009 no month set yet but 2009

Q: who has a chevy camaro for sale?
any kind

A: autotrader.com is great for buying vechicles

Q: what is the best website to find chevy camaro’s for sale in oklahoma?

A: craigslist… and autotrader. can locate vehicle by type , year, milage, etc in autotrader. Craigslist has some good deals for cars as well …

Q: Are the Chevy Dealers going to have the 2010 Camaro for sale in black like the one at the las vegas autoshow?
The Black 2010 camaro with the red hailo lights?

A: Just go to www.chevy.com/camaro there they show colors, specs and options, and such. And yes Black is going to be one of the most popular colors for the 2010 camaro. By the way it will be available soon they are releasing it in 2009 as a 2010 model. within 2-6 months depending on where you live you should start to see them at dealerships soon. Cant wait going to buy me an ss!!

Q: I want a Chevy nova or camaro for sale at a cheap price need answers fast.?

A: the only way you will get one cheap is if it’s a basket case, especially the camaro, you can find nova’s cheaper as they haven’t held their value as well as the camaro, look around your area for one, go to car shows and swap meets, you’ll find one to your liking but expect to pay more than cheap if it’s half way decent.

Q: When is the 2008 Chevy Camaro going to be available for sale to the public?

A: Sadly Ithere will not be a 2008 Camaro ; it is slated for release in March 2009. but I talked to a Chevy dealer who said there was a rumor it will not be released till 2010

Q: is a 1987 camaro for 1000 worth buying ?
There is a 1987 Chevy Camaro for sale online I’ve found. This car has a blown engine, and is in good condition besides the blown engine. I have a replacement v8 that will fit, but is 1000$ dollars worth it ? Im not sure, and i need some opinions first. Thanks, Nick

A: Yes it is worh it BUT I suggest standing in front of him with EXACTLY seven one hundred dollar bills being sure he sees all seven and start walking away if he says “no”. He will change his mind before you get to the car………

Q: Anyone have (or know someone has) a Chevy Camaro or Ford Mustang for sale in the $1000-2000 price range?

A: Man, I hate to tell you this but if you find a Camaro or Mustang with a V-8 in it for 1K to 2K, you don’t even want it. It would be death trap! People who have these cars and appreciate them take good care of them and therefore expect top dollar for their cars. The ones for that kind of money have been hammered to death, wrecked, engines replaced, etc. etc. Now if you plan to build your own, then go for it. If you start with junk, the worst thing you could do is lose some time and a little money. Good luck.

Q: Cannot find a 1974 Chevy Camaro Front Bumper? Does anyone have one for sale?

A: TRY CHECKING ON EBAY. USUALLY YOU CAN FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.

Q: How much is a 1975 Chevy Camaro worth?
I found this car for sale, and was wondering if its even worth what hes asking for it. It has two small dents, but is primered and ready for paint. it does have custom wheels, but im not sure how old. Interior is fine and it has a 350 V8 motor in it, and it runs great. It is a stick-shift. He is asking $1800 for it.

A: The early to mid 70’s Camaro were prone to rust underneath, and that included where the rear springs mounted. Laying on your back, slide in from behind the car. You need to check the area in front of the gas tank, just above the rearend housing. If there is no damage there, most likely the car would be worth investing money into, if the rest of the body isn’t bad. You can practically buy any part the car may need. I’ve bought these cars as cheap as $500 and as high as $3000. Some sell for much more. But if the car is driveable, and doesn’t have much underbody rust, drives straight, and has a decent motor I would pay that much for one. But like the others said, offer $1200 or so cash, then go up from there. He may take less than asking price.

Q: BUMBLEBEE CAMARO FROM TANSFORMERS FOR SALE ON EBAY – What do you think?
Here is the direct link to one of the three 1977 Camaros used as Bumblebee in the movie, Transformers:

http://cgi.ebay.com/TRANSFORMERS-Movie-Props-Bumblebee-77-Chevy-Camaro_W0QQitemZ200126643267QQihZ010QQcategoryZ60360QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Here is the link to the props for sale from the set of Transformers:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZpremiereprops7

A: yea what about it?

i’d buy it if i had money and the 2008 camaro too

Edit: yea it was a beetle but they couldnt get the license from VW so they stuck with GM cars same thing with the mustang ford wouldnt give the license for it so they used saleen mustang

Q: How much would it cost to convert an 1988 Chevy I-ROCZ Camaro automatic to Manual? with and without the parts?
i bought an 88 iroc for $800 but its auto i want it manual how much will this conversion cost me (and i know i should have bought one manual to begin with as it would have been cheaper but none exist for sale in my area)

A: more then what that car is worth

Q: I’m looking at a ‘98 Camaro to buy, but I’m not sure? Help?
Okay, so I saw this ad for a 1998 Camaro, but I’m not too sure about all the technical stuff, like if it has too many miles and such. It’ll need to last a few years. Here’s the ad:

98 Red Sporty Chevy Camaro V6 T-Tops – $2500

1998 Chevy Camaro T-top for sale. Asking for $2500. V6 Automatic. 172K miles. Excellent condition. Red with grey interior. I love the t-tops, perfect for crusing around in the spring/summer. Power windows, power locks. Anti-theft system. Cd player. 2 brand new tires.

Just, does it sound like it’ll last? It looks fine as far as bodywork and all, but like I said, I’m no so sure how long they last and whatnot.

A: 172,000 miles is a hell of alot for an american car, I drive a 98 camaro with 60,000 miles and constantly have to throw money into the engine because i’m scared something will happen

but it gets me from 0-60 in like 5 seconds it makes my head jerk back and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world

ok how much would a used 2003 be
how much would a used 2002 camaro be?

A: Scruffy please use the link posted. This link will show you kelly blue book price on the different models of the 2002 camaro. Please excuse some of the rude posters.Best of luck.http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Spec_Glance.aspx?year=2002&make=Chevrolet&model=Camaro&trimid=-1

Q: used chevy camaro prices?
could someone make me a list of camaros that if used are normally between $0-$7,000

A: I got my used 1999 Camaro 3800 Series II V6 for 1500.00.

Q: How much would a used Bellhousing for a 94 Chevy Camaro?
5 speed manual V6 Engine? Like a used one at a salvage yard or somthing?

A: Fifty bucks, maybe less. The market is tight now. Negotiate! I would start at twenty and look like I was leaving at $30.

But that’s going to the junkyard and finding your own part. You’ll have to check out several to find it.

Q: how much should i spend on a used 1969 chevy camaro?

A: anywhere from $500 for a rustbucket sitting in a field to $100,000+ for a fully restored Boyd Coddington edition.

Do you have a particular one in mind?

Q: How much will a used 2009/2010 Chevy Camaro approximatly cost in 2-3 years?

A: 12

Q: Used 2006 Chevy Camaro?
How much would a used 2006 Camaro generally cost?

A: they didn’t have camaro year models from 2003 to 2009, newest one is the 2010, last one before that one is the 2002

so we can answer your question when you get the simple facts straight first

Q: how much would a 1979 chevy camaro z28 cost if used?
i really want to restore one and get it as my first car.

A: I wouldn’t pay more than 2500 if it’s mechanically sound and doesn’t have outrageous mileage. The Blue Book Value of an 89 (it won’t go older than 1989) that is in even excellent condition is only 1700, and thats figuring it have 100000 miles or less. Pay a little to buy, and spend even more to fix it up. That’s the only way to make it a good first car. have fun.

Q: 2010 chevy camaro or a used BMW?
i was thinking about purchasing a new car.. love the new camaro but i think a (used 2007) bmw 5 series has more class than a chevy. which one of these would turn heads on the road?

A: I’d take the BMW..let someone else eat the depreciation..

Q: Where can I buy parts (New or Used) for a 1968 Chevy Camaro?
Some of the things I need on the top of my head is a front windshield, side mirror, rear view mirror a dashboard. I’m thinking of looking around at some junkyards but don’t know if that’s a place where I should look. I live in central Ohio so if you live near and know any reliable junkyards let me know.

A: Ive had luck with these three as for a windshield try a local glass shop that way if it is broken in transit or installation It’s their responsibility Check out Hemmings Motor News it’s the best place to start looking when restoring a car.

Q: What Year Is The Chevy Camaro That Was used in ” Transformers “?
not the one when he changed since Mikeala said a ” peice of crap camaro ” lol the old one . the one we first see him as. in the rest of the movie he is changed into a 08 camaro. Was it a 69? or 70?

A: According to this Edmunds.com article, where the writer actually drove the car, it is a 1976. It’s an interesting article to read; it gives reasons why the movie makers chose the ‘76 model (they said the ‘69 would’ve been way too cool for Bumblebee to start out as), some of the stuff they did to it, etc.

Q: can a chevy camaro v8 be used for towing and if so what pieces are necesary?

A: Yes it can but I’ve only seen class 1 hitches for them Class 1 is only rated at about 2000-2500 lbs. It would be enough for a small trailer or a couple of jet skis.

Q: what is the weight, kind of transmission gear oil should be used in a 1988 chevy camaro, 305 engine?

A: If you mean “gear” oil as is used in your rear differential gears, conventional 90 weight gear oil, but don’t take my word for it – see your car’s owner’s manual. If you want to get better gas mileage, replace the standard petroleum gear oil in the rear differential with Mobil Oil’s Synthetic gear lube 90 weight oil (see weblink). If you have positraction, you may need a special oil additive sometimes from your GM dealer. You can download your owner’s manual for free at the link below.
If you mean transmission fluid, then again, refer to your owner’s manual, but any auto parts store has the newest Dexron 3 transmission fluid you can use in your transmission. When you buy the Dexron 3 at the auto store, also pick up the special transmission fluid filler funnel you’ll need which has a very long and narrow neck to fit into the transmission’s fill tube. Make sure to check the transmission’s fluid level only after the engine and transmission is hot and the engine idling in Park on a level surface.

http://www.pennzoil.com/products/trans_fluids/dex3.html

Q: What suspension parts to change in a 1999 Camaro?
Hello, I bought a used Chevy Camaro V6 at 95k miles from a used dealer and it now has 112k miles on it. The car has always sat pretty low (probably the dumb owner before me had it lowered even more…….) but now it seems that it’s not doing that well over bumps and such.

What do I need to change : shocks and struts and where are they located (rear/front)?

A: we recommend changing shocks/struts at anything over 75K miles. If the shocks have been worn for a long time, chances are the springs are shot, too. I believe the older Camaros had shocks all the way around.

Q: i want to buy a used car and i wanted advice from someone who know about chevy camaro’s?
how much can i get a used 1987 or 1988 chevrolet camaro irock or whats the cheapest price i can get one for

A: $2500 to buy it and another $2500 to fix it up. $5k average.

Q: Does a 95 Chevy Camaro have a stock alarm?
I bought a used camaro and it has a keyless entry remote but the battery died and when I replaced it, it wouldn’t work. The more important question is does a 95 Camaro come with an alarm? The car has stickers on the windows that says it has an alarm but I don’t know if the previous owner just put the stickers on the car. If it has an alarm it must be disconnected.
Lol….brand new battery in both the remote and car
Hyper I really appreciate your response but I read that those instructions were for a new model than I have.

A: No it does not have a stock alarm. If the Battery died in the remote and you changed the battery and it doesn’t work you may have to program the remote. If your car has an alarm there should be a device under the hood that looks like a horn (black) with a red wire gong to the battery or a fuse block. If there was stickers there is probably an alarm they come with it.

Q: whats the average price for a pre-owned….?
chevy camaro 07.

A: eleventy billion dollars

They didnt make the Camaro in 2007

Q: Searching for a Yellow 1986-1990 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 IROC?
Steadily searching for this particular car. Does anyone know of any great pre-owned/used Camaro sites or pre-owned/used car sites I could find this on?

Remember:
YELLOW
1986-1990
Chevrolet Camaro
Z28 IROC

Been to Cars.com, AutoTrader.com, and eBayMotors.com so please do not mention those.

If you know of any Camaro registries, let me know.

And if any of you all have this particular car, answer the question as well.
I have not put a want ad in the newspapers or online, as there are too many venues to list it.
sorry about that, if you do have this particular car, email me with details about it: mrjones550@yahoo.com

A: Camaro trader ,how much are willing to spend
i have that car its more like corvette velocity/yellow
but i really dont want to sell it but for the rite price
i would

Q: Trying to decide which car to get? 08 Acura TL-S or 10 Chevy Camaro!?
I am a college graduate looking to purchase my first car on my own. My current vehicle now is an 05 Honda civic. My honda has treated me great and hasnt been in the shop one single time in a 6 year span. As you all know honda civics are kind of college kid/baby mama cars. I am a 25 year old man seeking a sports vehicle now. My two choices are the a pre owned 2010 Chevy Camaro 2LT/RS or a 2008 Acura TL Type S. I know these are two different type of cars but they are both young, hip, sexy, and sporty. I figured since I will have a note for the next 60 months, Id better think it thru. The Camaro has the beast engine and the looks, but the acura just turns heads and is fully loaded from the tech aspect( Nav, Backup Camera, Bluetooth, Voice Activation) Acura is made by Honda, which I own now, but my parents both drive GM. Which car do you think is better for the long run and will be more of a chick magnet at the same time?

A: Acura TL.

The TL is four dour, and the Build Quality is very high, Safety is top notch, interior is a dream, and much more reliable than the Camaro.

Camaro on the other hand has cheap interior, cluttered instrument panel, and only has a small speed advantage.

I do not trust GM products, they always exaggerate what they can actually deliver.

Q: Is the price good for this car? 2010 Camaro.?
Pre-Owned by a Rental Company.
12K miles.
http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&csDlId=&csDgId=&listingId=35157168&listingRecNum=22&criteria=sf1Dir%3DASC%26mkId%3D20053%26stkTyp%3DU%26mdId%3D20770%26rd%3D50%26crSrtFlds%3DstkTypId-feedSegId-mkId-mdId-yrId%26zc%3D90301%26rn%3D0%26PMmt%3D1-1-0%26stkTypId%3D28881%26sf1Nm%3Dprice%26yrId%3D27381%26rpp%3D50%26feedSegId%3D28705&aff=national
The dealer is telling me they cant drop the price because they added the rims and racing stripes. The car was also dropped from 30k to 27k.

what do you guys think?
what would be a good sale price?

A: I just called and they told me 24,500.00

Somebody is yanking your chain!

Find new and used Buy Camaro at our automotive classifieds and Cars for Sale website Classifieds.Sub5Zero.com

Q: trying to find website for classic cars want to buy a camaro?
does anyone know which website to go to, to buy a classic camaro 68-73 for project car or selling one trying to buy one for my boyfriend. we found one for $ 500 but it didnt run. it could be in any condition as long as it runs.

A: just try autotrader.com

Q: How much would it be to swap a v6 3.4L Camaro 1995 for a V8 or a ls1 or lt1 motor or is it better to buy a V8?
Some people tell me to buy a camaro that all ready has a V8 but my QUESTION is is it cheaper to buy a V8 and put it in

A: Rebuilt engines are only as good as the one who rebuilt it.
Check this out:
http : // www. citymotorsupply. com
They are cheep and well done.
Also as far as the trans goes. 700R4’s are all over the place.
They will fit 350 blocks of that year (LS1).
But you can get more power with a 383 with 2.02 heads.
500+
Use a turbo 350 trans with the 383 though, the 700r4 would burn up under that power.

If you want cheap and don’t want to buy another camero.
Keeping that camero body, Find a mid to late 90’s truck at the local auction.
Swap motors, trany, and harness/mods.
With multi port injection, you should have alot more power cheap.
I buy mid 90’s trucks here all the time for under a thousand.

Q: What are things I should look for before I buy a 1988 Chevy Camaro?
What should I do? I never bought a Camaro before and I want to know what i should look at on the car…..

A: 1st thing to check is the VIN # for authenticity as far as what kind of history the car has, what kind of motor is really in it & what year it really is. Alot of people try to sell a car & claim it’s something that it’s not.

2.) I would have my own personal mechanic take a look at it. Take it to a shop, get it lifted up. You should have the oil pan, oil lines, brakes, rotors, calipers, alignment & rear end checked out. Have the motor checked for leaks, make sure your valve covers are secure & make sure all fluids are healthy & not old. Check the battery, alternator which should be at 13+ amps/voltage.

3.) You want an interior that is as clean as possible for a 21+ yr. old car. Even if there is aftermarket carpet in it that is better than carpet that is stained & burned with holes. If you’re lucky you’ll get a Camaro that has a dashboard that is one piece. Seats that are ripped are common in these cars but you can always cover it up with a seat cover like mine has. Make sure it has an overall decent paint job, you don’t want to buy something that is falling apart with chipped paint everywhere.

4.) Make sure the body itself is strong & not falling apart on you. Check your hood, quarter panels, both interior & exterior of the doors, the hatch, the hydraulic pins for the hood & anything exterior.

5.) Check the tires for air pressure, make sure the wheels aren’t leaking air (from water collecting over time & corroding which causes them to leak air) & make sure all of your electronics are working properly. Make sure your gauges are working also.

6.) Most of these type of cars have been in at least one accident over their life time. My car was in one back in 1995 but the damage was fixed along time ago. Depending on whether or not you get a 305, V6 or a 350 your options vary on what the cars have. If you want the most power get a 350, if you want something that isn’t all that powerful but has a manual get a 305. 305’s also came with automatics that year but the 350’s didn’t come with manuals! Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking that.

If you’re just looking for a car to get you to work or one that is for joyriding & going to work then that obviously depends on your wants/needs. I drive mine for both pleasure & going to work. My car gets 25mpg on the hwy. but only 14 or 15 in the city. I go to the gas station alot since I drive in the city more. But no one buys a muscle car for gas mileage so if that’s what you want in a car get a V6 instead.

As for insurance rates that depends on your credit, where you live, driving history & the type of car you get. I pay a cheap good amount for full coverage on mine mainly because of my age (being 25+ helps) & because of my driving record. You will also want to buy a IROC that has a clean title. If you get a salvage title then it’ll be harder to insure it.

Well I hope this helps & below I have a website that will help you learn more about the technical stats of the 1988 Camaro’s. Good luck.

http://www.teufert.net/camaro/1988.htm

Q: whats the fastest 2010 camaro i can buy?
does anyone know what hte fastest camaro that i can buy is? or if i buy a camaro SS can i put a supercharger on it? or does it already have one?
i dont know much about muscle cars, i was always the tuner car type of person. but the Camaro SS 2010, caught my attention greatly.
thank you.

A: There are a few companies that tune them after they roll of production line. Supercharges can be put on any motor as long as someone makes it to fit that car. You can supercharge a scooter, same thing as a turbo just a supercharger is belt fed and that cost about 10hp where as a turbo is spun by exhaust gas and just creates power. A camaro ss does not come with a supercharger. For parts try summit racing. They are the largest online racing store.

Q: Which car is better to buy camaro 2010 vs mazdaspeed3 2010 ?
Im a 24 years old male, Buying a new car, please give me your opinion on both cars, Im concern in speed but also comfort and price.

Thanks.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: Anyone know a good site to buy a 1990 Camaro RS transmission?
Just looking for a good/reputable site to buy a manual transmission from for a 1990 Chevrolet Camaro RS V8 LO3 motor.

We will putting the transmission in ourselves so please do not recommend a mechanic or local shop.

Any links are appreciated.

A: Are you looking to buy a trans or have your rebuilt ?? Either way, there are many online sites to help you; a lot will depend if you want a stock trans, a “racing” type or in between

Q: What project car should I buy? 1988 Camaro Convertible or 1989 Firebird?
These cars are not totally beat up, but I am looking to buy new engine, transmission, and other major parts to make sure the car runs smoothly. Also I hope to do alittle bit of bodywork. Would either of these cars be easier and/or cheaper to fix up?

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: By what time will 2010 Camaro be available for a certified buy?
I want to buy a 2010 Certified Chevrolet Camaro. Not a new one, neither a used one. So i wanted to get an idea of how long does it usually take for a car to come to the certified market after it came to the market. 2010 camaro started selling in April 09, so its been 10 months now. How long before it comes to the certified market?

A: they are already out, dealers can get them at the auction and then go through the certification process, there are plenty of them running through the auctions.

Q: Why or why not buy a camaro?
I would like to know some reasons why or why not I should buy a camaro?

Its a 1995 automatic silver camaro with 133,000 miles, and it looks like a great car.

http://vehiclepro.net/rswholesale/car/3108/1.jpg
Anyone want to make a pros or cons list?

I will check all that stuff you guys wrote about.

Thanks for the help.

A: These were not particularly durable or reliable cars. While this one looks good in the photo, 133K is a lot of miles for a Camaro. I’d expect the following would need work:

Brakes, Tranny, Exhaust, AC, Cooling System, Alternator

I like Camaro’s, even own a 69 model.

Be careful, get a mechanics condition estimate and keep a good bit of $ aside to fix it when it breaks.

Astrobuf

Q: I want to get a crate engine after I buy my Camaro?
I’m really interested in purchasing a second generation Camaro and/or possibly a different muscle car. Everyone has given me great advice, such as that I need to find a car with a good body/interior but the engine doesn’t have to be perfect.

I’ve heard a scenario where I can remove the car’s original/current engine and transport it to an autoparts store. Then I will trade the engine in and pay a fee and will receive the crate engine.

I found that Jegs sells a crate engine for $1,500: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store…10002_85884_-1

I’m not sure I’m going to have that kind of money after buying the car because I only have $2-$4k. Can I use the trade-in process mentioned above? If so, how much will it cost me for the engine? Thank you.

A: Since you have a low budget, I’d suggest that you look for either a pristine Camaro with a modified engine and a motivated (some one needing cash in hurry) seller or else scour the government auctions for a used police camaro. Many times the NY State Police, for example, have basketcases that have no body damage, but either the engine or tranny is shot. If you can find a decent one, try to get one that’s been used by a supervisor (boss) if possible and then search the wrecking yards for an engine and tranny out a late model low mileage wreck, which will fit into your Camaro. Buying used is generally less expensive than buying a crate engine, the power is good, the low mileage leaves them open for modification at a later stage when you’ve saved up some more $s. Also, the swap will leave you with a lot of spare parts, and you can sell the long-block as a core back to GM or a rebuilder to recoupe some of your expenses. Bottom line, the modern GM engine off of the assembly line is as well machined as a rebuilder. Sure you can get a stroker or an over bored engine out of a crate, but that may not get you any greater power on the street if you’re going to maintain the car in compliance with emission control laws. Instead, I’d work on improving the injectors, upgrading the ECM unit for greater output ( the nice thing about a used police car is that they rarely re-flash the ECM (computer) with the civilian software. So you may very well find that when its installed in the car, the vehicle can easily go to 140 mph because the rev limiting or delays have not been installed.
Horsepower today is largerly electronically driven with the fi, air intake, ignition, and exhaust systems being the chief sources of power. A crated engine is most likely being built for off-road competition. And most use carb set ups which are illegal and non-viable on the street. Remember there is a difference between an outlaw and a rebel.

Q: I am tryin to buy a 2001 v6 camaro how fast are the really?
i am 16 tryin to buy a 2001 v6 camaro and make it kinda fast but keeping it affordable what kind of parts can i put on it? can anyone tell me what a stock v6 camaro runs the 1/4 or the 1/2 mile? thanks

A: RK Sport makes a supercharger kit for the 3.8 Camaro…that’s your best bet for bang for the buck. The V6 Camaro is rated at 200 horsepower and I would suspect around a 15-16 second 1/4 mile. With a cam change, exhaust (headers and cat back), and the supercharger you might be able to get to 280-300 hp, at that point you would be looking at 13-14 second 1/4 mile times. Honestly, though, a V6 Camaro is never going to be as fast as you want…and if the budget allows it, it would be cheaper to get a Z28, Formula Firebird, or Trans Am than it would be to modify a V6 to beat them.

Q: I want to buy a Camaro 69, need advice?
I’m trying to buy my FIRST car, and I decided to buy Camaro 69, but my dad says 69 is too old and will not run properly, any comment or suggestions?

A: Despite the ridiculous comment made by another here, a 1969 car can be just as reliable as a new one. It all depends on how it has been cared for. I have a 1967 that I would not be afraid to drive cross country. I would suggest though, since this is your first car, to get a non-classic. As much as you don’t want to believe it, you will have some learning to go through which includes damage to your car.

Q: why do people buy a camaro or mustang with a v6?
i just dont see whats the point! its a muscle car! and your buying it without the muscle!

A: maybe the cant afford the v8 car or just like the way they look or drive and insurance cost more for a v8 if you are young.

Q: Can i buy a 2010 camaro without an engine?
I want to drop an ls9 in it, and apparenty u can buy them that way now, but i dont have the money yet so i was looking for a cheaper option. Its 21000 for the engine, and if i could pay ten to 15k for the body w/o an engine it would b great
Also i dont really care about blue book, i dont plan on selling it. Ever.

A: Chevy sells a “body in white” Camaro starting at $7,000. You can purchase them from GM Performance Parts. Ford does the same with the Mustang.

Q: will a lot of people buy the new 2010 camaro ?
will a lot of people buy the new Camaro ….that it will be in the streets like any other car driving around?

A: Will they? They already are….GM can’t keep up with the orders that are coming in. Once dealers stop making the damn price up you’ll see even more on the road.

Q: anyone know of just a camaro classifieds webpage with cars for sell in nc?
im looking for a 1993 and up camaro to buy but i would like it to be in or close to nc anybody know any good websites that just has camaro classifieds?

A: try www.carsforsale.clasifieds1000.com Do a search in box upper left. and good luck with your new,old car.

Q: Should I buy a new challenger or camaro or get a classic muscle car?
I’m going in the military soon and will have a signing bonus. Also will have little time to spend with a personal vehicle. And i want to have fun when i get back to port. Just wondering if an old camaro is preferable to a new one

http://www.camaros.net/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=29596&cat=11

A: If you must get a camaro, get one from around 1968. they are WAY cooler than they are now. Challangers kick a$$ though. they are one of my favorite cars, just behind the 69′ GTO…

Q: Looking For 1969 Chevy Camaro SS To Rebuild!!?
i’ve searched google, craigslist, the classifieds, but no real luck. any other good places to search for an old camaro? all i need is body&frame at the very least. i’m looking to do a full restoration off the frame. Thanks.
@ Otto- thanks. and yes i realize that its actually a sub frame, but i’ve seen some that don’t even have that. thanks again.

A: The Camaro does not have a separate body and frame. It is a unibody vehicle. Look in periodicals like Hemmings Motor News and the Auto Trader.

Q: WHICH CAR IS BETTER ? Should I trade my camaro?
Is my camaro a good trade for the monte carlo? there are 2 seperate links to each car. The camaro has a stock V6. The monte carlo has a 355 roller customed to push 550 horses. Good trade?

A: Yeah if you have the money to suck gas.

Q: Senior classifieds xxx funny or not xxx?
FOXY LADY:
Sexy, fashion-conscious blue-haired beauty, slim, 5-4 (used to be 5-6), searching for sharp-looking, sharp-dressing companion. Matching white shoes and belt a plus.

LONG-TERM COMMITMENT:
Recent widow who has just buried fourth husband looking for someone to round out a six-unit plot. Dizziness, fainting, shortness of breath not a problem.

SERENITY NOW:
I am into solitude, long walks, sunrises, the ocean, yoga and meditation. If you are the silent type, let’s get together, take our hearing aids out and enjoy quiet times. WINNING SMILE:

BEATLES OR STONES?:
I still like to rock, still like to cruise in my Camaro on Saturday nights and still like to play the air guitar. If you were a groovy chick, or are now a groovy hen, let’s get together and listen to my boss collection of eight-track tapes.
I can usually remember Monday through Thursday. If you can remember Friday, Saturday and Sunday, let’s put our two heads together.

MINT CONDITION:
Male, 1923, high mileage, good condition, some hair, many new parts including hip, knee, cornea, valves. Doesn’t run but walks well.

A: L O L 9/10 x

Q: Project car?
I am looking to get a true project car. I am looking at a 1969 Camaro. It needs everything. The only thing that can be used is the chassis. Other than that everything needs replaced. It has a clear title and matching numbers. The seller is asking $1000, is it worth it? OR is there any where online, besides ebay, that i can go and look at classifieds for project cars?

A: that sounds high to me..if you are in California you can do better at a swap meet…don’t do a car newer than 1973..
we call them smog dogs….

Q: where can i get an elictrical map for a 1989 chevy camaro online?
i need to re wire the old thing the old ones are shot. just for the info its a 1989 iroc z with a 305 and tuned port injection

A: the first link is a charge to buy it, seems like everyone is after the $, the second site might be able to help free.
You can buy a book “Chiltons” at most any parts store, that has all sorts of good info. and specs. including schematics that your after

Q: Where can I find the Transformers Bumblebee Deluxe Camaro Concept online?
It seems that it is out of stock almost everywhere, and I would really like to have one, even though the new ones come out in May. If anyone could tell me where I could still get this now-rare toy, online or not, that would be great.

A: honestly wait until Revenge of the Fallen comes out.
you will be able to get all 2007 movie figures for half off and they will be everywhere trust me.

Q: Is there a way to get my ‘69 camaro appraised online?
I tried kelly blue book online and they only give values from 1989 on. Are there any other sites like kelly blue book for classic cars?

A: The NADA does offer a free on-line version. Just go to www.nadaguides.com and select the correct guide. It wouldn’t really be considered an appraisal. It is an estimate. An appraisal is more accurate in that someone (a trained appraiser) actually goes over the entire vehicle to determine it’s worth for insurance purposes and such.

Q: would you rather buy a camaro online or from th dealership?
it seems to me its more expensive at the store then online what do you think

A: I would never buy a vehicle online. I would only buy a vehicle that I had seen in person and test-driven. Not to mention that there’s the potential for them to scam you. You send the money and they don’t send you the car and you’re fucked.

Q: Does anybody know where i can find a good online 2010 camaro painter?
I want to see what all the options look like so can anyone give me a website with this feature?

A: www.chevy.com

Q: Can someone tell me where the best place would be online to sell a 1986 camaro in impecable condition in NC?
I live in charlotte and need to find a place online to get this camaro sold and out of my yard btu dont know where. will someoen please help me? thanks, Lisa

A: Try Hemmings motor news. They are national and have a print/online publication. It typically caters to most of the non-commodity transportation cars….classic, speciality, custom, collector.

Otherwise just try the simplest and run an ad in your local paper. Some local papers also upload your ad to cars.com as well for no additional fee.

Q: 80 Chevy Camaro I need a driver side door, and hood in chicagoland area or online?
Im trying to find a nice door not to rusted for the drivers side of my 80 Camaro and a hood. I would buy online or anywhere in the chicago area any ideas on where to find these parts that aren’t rusted. Southern junk yards that ship,or aftermarket parts I searched some I couldn’t find a door?

A: http://www.car-parts.com

I’m in the industry, we need business!

Your right about the rust many yards won’t ship sheet metal or glass, fear of not making it in one piece.

It may be a little harder to find parts for your 2nd gen F-body, most junkyards have been crushing the older stuff for newer cars, more Toyotas, Hondas, basically 90’s and up.

Good Luck
Long Live the F-bodies!

Q: Any online games where you can customize your own 67 or 69 camaro?
Any online games where you can build/customize your own ‘69 camaro thanks

Q: Where can I find big block hoods online for a 88 Camaro IROC-Z?
I have a 350 tpi small block but I want to add a big block hood on my car. My current hood is just fine, I’m just looking to see what I can find for my car. Thanks!

A: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=camero+parts+catalog&fr=ush-ans

Q: How can I rent a new Camaro for cheaper than the prices Budget or Avis have online?
My guys birthday is on the 31st and I want to get him something really nice. He’s really into cars, and is always talking about renting the Camaro. We are going to a friends wedding in San Diego in December and I think he would love it for the drive from Phoenix, Arizona to San Diego, California. Has anyone found a way to rent a new Camaro for cheaper than what Budget/Avis are offering (Priceline, Expedia, etc.)?

A: You are limited to what the rental companies have, and no other sources…if you are going to rent, do so as far in advance as you can as those vehicles will have a lot of people wanting to rent them, and double check they have the vehicle at their lot the day before you go – they sometimes pull the old ” we don’t have any now, even though you reserved one, but one may come in today, tomorrow, etc”

Q: 1987 Camaro, how do I know what size rims i need to order online?
I dont wanna have to take it in anywhere so how do i figure out what size rims i need for it?

A: JEW is right ! Git’em 24 ” diameter & 24 ” wide ! You’ll be like Sooooooo COOL !

Q: where can i find hood louvers for a 86 camaro online?
same hood i just want to replace a broken louver

A: Are you wanting to use the original hood and put louvers in it, or replace the whole hood?

In the time it took you to post this question you could’ve just typed it into the yahoo! search and already be looking at pictures of them.

Q: Is there an online diagram on how to change out the transmission fluid and filter for a ‘94 camaro?
I need to change out my fluid and replace the filter. I don’t know where to start or what to look for. I have a bottle of lucas and enough fluid to replace it and a brand new filter.

A: It is messy, but be prepared. Jack car up in front and block it. Then get a BIG pan, as there is no drain plug. See the flat, mostly square pan on the bottom of the transmission, good, now loosen all the bolts, see how the fluid comes out everywhere? It runs down the frame yuck, but nessessary. When the mess is over, there is another square pan under that one, but it just has 3 screws, take them out and keep screws discard filter (square thing), then wipe the bottom of the pan out good, take new filter and install, then take just a small amount of pematex or grease or vasoline, just to keep gasket on pan straight, smear it on the pan lip and set gasket on it, then put in place, and start a few bolts, then the rest, only slightly tight, then tighten all the bolts crisscrossing back and forth, then go all around, they should be tight but not overly tight, while it’s up, get some degreaser spray and spray it down and hose it off, drop car back down and fill to proper leval.

Q: 1969 Camaro For Sale Online?
I am looking for a 1969 Camaro that I can purchase. I kind of want it to be beaten up to where I can fix it up. Does anyone know of where I can maybe get one of these, online, for a cheap price of around $8,000 – $10,000, or am i dreamin?

Thanks and take care,

A: go to craigs list and go to camarosandfirebirds.com

Q: looking for an online repair manual for an 86 camaro iroc-z?
my steering column wiggles all over the damn place and a guy told me that there are like 3 or 4 male torx in the column that just need to be tightened up and i cant find anything on diagrams or anything on google, can anyone help please??? thanks….

A: You ought to invest in buying a Haynes Repair Manual ($20 from your local auto store). Luckily I have one sitting in front of me for 82-92 camaros. Unluckily, they don’t just have steps to tighten the steering column, as this is more of a “fix” for older cars. I couldn’t tell you where to stop in the instructions, since I’d have to be physically taking it apart and looking for loose bolts.

However, someone did write an instruction manual on tightening the steering column up on third gens here:

http://www.thirdgen.org/steeringcolumn

Unfortunately, no diagrams are online. The repair manuals have pictures of each step. Paired with those online instructions, you should be able to fix it.

Q: chevy camaro?
does anybody know what’s going on with the new chevy camaro, like in Tranformers. I HAVE to have that car! yellow with black racing stripes…anybody know if its new and not out yet or if it is where i can get one, thanks so much!!

A: it’s not out yet.

Q: Chevy Camaro?
Does anyone have any information as to when Chevy will come out with it?

What can you order on it, if you preorder?

A: Here is the rundown on the Camaro, again…
– No pricing has been released yet, since they haven’t even announced engine packages or final build specs.
– Being a 2009 Camaro, it will be available near the end of 2008, or early 2009.
– Call your local dealer about the preorder. My guess is that you can only put money down, and get your name on the list for the first shipment. It will be hard to pick options, since Chevy doesn’t even know the options yet.

For more info, just keep your eyes open. Car and Driver and Chevy’s website will be your best sources for information.

Q: What’s the difference between the chevy camaro LS and the chevy camaro SS?
I really like the chevy camaro but I’m not sure the difference between the LS and the SS?
I really like the 2010 chevy camaro but I’m not sure the difference between the LS and the SS?

A: The SS is sportier. Check out the details here:

http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Spec_Glance.aspx?year=2010&make=Chevrolet&model=Camaro&trimid=-1

This tells you every detail you need to know, including mpg difference, interior features such as leather wrapped steering wheel, and external features such as fog lights (which do not come on an LS).

Q: How long does a 1994 Chevy Camaro last on average?
I’m wondering about how many miles will a 1994 Chevy Camaro last? Not based on how it is maintained, just on average how long do they last?

A: There are two engines available on it, a V6 and a V8
The V8 is generally considered to be more reliable (about 140000 vs 120000 miles) is average, but with GM it’s a crapshoot: either really good or really crappy car

yeah average 140000 but standard deviation is like 200000!!!!!!

Q: How do you replace battery cables and connectors on Chevy Camaro?
I have a 98′ Chevy Camaro 3.8L V6 Coupe and I need to replace the battery cables and connectors because my current ones are corroded by battery acid. Yet, I have no idea how to do that. I have very little experience working on automobiles. Any advice would be great!

A: There are two many cables. The positive which is Red and the negative which is Black. When removing and installing the cables, always disconnect the negative battery cable before performing repairs. This is also the last thing to be connected. This will prevent you from shorting out the electrical system.
The battery terminals are a side mount and the battery is a 78 series. The bolts are 5/16′. The negative cable runs down to the side of the engine and is attached with a 9/16′ or 14mm bolt. The positive cable runs down to the starter and is attached using a 15mm lock nut. This can sometimes be tricky to remove because the terminal stud on the starter solenoid can come loose while trying to loosen the lock nut. To prevent this from happening, hold the cable with your other hand while loosening the lock nut.
Hope this helps and good luck. Christopher

Q: What is the correct tire size for a 1997 chevy camaro z28?
Hi, i am a proud owner of a 1997 chevy camaro z28 30 year special anniversery edition. I dont have the owners manual anymore that came with the car and need to find out what the correct tire size is that should be on there.

A: the manual should tell you where the sticker for tires size/ pressure is

Q: What is the best sounding exhaust for a 2010 Chevy Camaro V8?
I am about to buy a 2010 Chevy Camaro V8. I want a real aggresive exhaust but not to powerful. I want it to sound like a true american muscle car, not some POS ricer. Any ideas, I listened to dynomax soundbits and I like the Glasspack and 2 chamber welded sounds. Basically in that range.

A: get the upgraded high performance exhaust system from gm. your dealer will install it for you. it sounds great on the car but is not so loud you can’t enjoy it. it sounds like pure muscle

Q: How much is a body kit for a 2010 chevy camaro? Also how much would it cost to put 4 mufflers in the camaro?
How much is a body kit for a 2010 chevy camaro? Also how much would it cost to put 4 mufflers in the camaro?

A: why make the camaro look like crap.. their isn’t a body kit that looks better.. however probably run around $1300 for a body kit.. and 4 muffler or 4 exhaust tips? adding 4 mufflers would make it flow like crap.. learn about how cars work first

Q: How many gear does a 1988 chevy camaro iroc z28 have?
In have a 1988 chevy camaro iroc z28 and it shift to 3 gears at 40 MPH is that ok are is there a problem?

A: Unless, someone switch your car to a three speed, this is not good. All manual IROC’s came with a four speed.

Q: How to remove DelcoBose stereo system in 1995 Chevy Camaro?
I just got a 1995 Chevy Camaro and it has the DelcoBose system in it and an aftermarket head unit. It works okay but I want to replace the entire thing. I hear that it’s pretty annoying to work with, so how can I remove everything extra so I just have the head unit and the wires and mounting locations for the 4 speakers. I will add an amplifier too so I want to remove any sound processors or anything else not needed for an aftermarket system as well. Thanks!

A: See if this helps.

http://installdr.com/InstallDocs/GM/PDF/460061.pdf

Q: How much would it cost to modify a 2010 chevy camaro to have 1000 HP? What will i need?
What would i need to make a chevy camaro 2010 have a 1000 HP? Also how much will everything cost?

A: Install the highest compression forged pistons you can get. Strongest H-beam rods. Have the block blueprinted, and a machine shop perform there best services on it. Have the whole rotating assembly balanced. Get the heads ported, and polished with bigger valves, and have them put a 7-angle valve job on them. Port and polish the intake manifolds. Get the biggest throttle body you can find. You’ll prolly need some bigger fuel injectors. Get some stronger valve springs, and higher ratio rocker arms. Put the biggest cam you can find in it. I’d put a double roller timing chain on it, or go gear drive. Long tube headers, with true dual exhaust. With an x pipe of course. Then if you have enough money put a turbocharger, or supercharger on it. This isn’t the best idea to run boost on a high compression ratio, but with stron internals, and a balanced rotating assembly, with a lot of tuning it can be ran safley to the engine. You also have to run high octane. More than likely race fuel with the compression ratio you’ll be running. If you wanted you could put low compression ratio pistons in it, and run boost. That way you could run it without race fuel. Expect to put down a few hundred to a few thousand to have it dyno tuned, and setup perfectly. With all that you should be able to get your numbers your wanting. Expect to put down 15,000-30,000 dollars during this build! lol

Q: How much would it cost to paint a 1994 chevy camaro?
im looking to buy a 1994 Chevy Camaro and its a mahogany reddish color, a color that i really do not like, and im looking to go to a Maaco and buying a new paint job. and i was just wondering how much it would cost me.

A: That depends on how much paint you want, how much you want painted (the engine compartment and sheet metal underneath the interior will still be that ugly red), how many layers it’ll take/you’ll want, and of course, the main killer, labor.
Plus, you’ll want a quality paint job, otherwise you’ll regret it. If you go to Maaco and get a cheezy $500 paint job, it’ll show. The paint might be cloudy, body parts might not match, there could be bubbles in the paint, etc.
If you want a high-quality paint job, you’ll have to shoot for the 4-figure area.

In the end, it would be better to look for another ‘94 Camaro. You could at least get a color you like if you keep looking, and God knows there’s tons of them out there if you look.
I suggest going to http://www.craigslist.com or http://www.autotrader.com (both sites I used when I was looking for my ‘98 Camaro). If you live in the OC area of California, you can also check out the Recycler. Some good cars go through there.
Never settle for less than the best, even if you have to look for a while. I spent two months looking for my Camaro, and my dad spent 6 months looking for his.

Q: how can you convert from power windows in a 98 chevy camaro to crank windows?
I am having problems with my power windows and really cant afford to take it in to have it repaired. Drivers side is not working at all, ( started going up a little then stopping all together ) now my passengers side is doing the same thing. I have a 1998 chevy camaro Z28. please…please help me y’all.
also..when the drivers side window stopped all together so did my radio speaker on that side.

A: It would cost more for you to convert than it would be to repair the window. More than likely the window motors must be replaced.

Q: What headers should i put on a chevy 350 for a camaro?
what type of headers should i put on my 1987 chevy camaro swapped 350cc holley carbureted and much more.. im currently rebuilding it and wanna get rid of the manifolds and put some nice headers on.. just not sure which, im new to the 350

A: Hooker, Headman and Blackjack all make them for your car, trick is to order them for a 1987 with 5.0 or 5.7 engine but make sure you tell them 1987 model year. the headders will have the proper bends and collectors for that year and design, then go with Magnaflow from the headders to tail pipe for proper fit

Q: 1997 Chevy Camaro rs is this a good car?Or does it have engine problems or transmision?
i was planning on buying a 1997 Chevy Camaro rs v6 107,265 mile Automatic transmision and i wanted to know if these car are any good i ask because where i’m from there rare cars you dont see them often i was told i was better off with a honda or toyota.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.enacre.net

Q: What is the model of the camaro used in the movie “Transformers”?
I am hoping to buy my first car soon, and I wouldn’t mind finding an old, beatup camaro similar to the one Shai had in the movie. Does anyone know the exact make, model, and year of the vehicle used in the film?

BTW: I am asking about the older one in the movie, not the sleek new one that appeared later on.

A: It was a 1976. Great looking vehicle.

Q: does anyone have a website or know some one in fairbanks alaska that maybe selling a used camaro?
hi im looking for a used camaro that is in my price range wich is from 1000 to about 2.5 3000dollars? now im infairbanks alaska and i havent really noticed any camaros here if any one know where i can get one in alaska or some where else that would be cheap to ship to alaska please help me out thank you!

A: are you for real? I mean, hello, get your head out of the oven or where-ever you have it—-it’s called www.craigslist.com, duhhhhhhhhhh
click on your state and town…

double duhhhhhhh

Q: How much could I expect a used 2010 Camaro to go for?
I will be looking to purchase the new 2010 camaro, only I will be looking for a used one in the summer months. Does anyone have any idea how much one would go for (V6, automatic?)

A: It will be hard the first to be sold will be to fans that want them so you may see a few used one after 8 months most of the time the first used ones to hit the markets are fleet rentals this car is not going into fleet service. Say 9 months after release you see a few if it has good miles and is not damaged then If it’s original MSRP was $25000 you could get it for $20000. It will take a while till dealer inventory gets heavy before the price will come down to a normal level. Plus GM is saying production will not be wide open like most of the other cars that will keep prices high for a while.

Q: The new alarm I put in my recently purchased used Camaro does not unlock the door !! Anyone have any ideas why
The only time it unlocks using the alarm fob is after I unlock it initially with a key. Only then will it lock and unlock using the alarm fob. After a while, it goes back to not unlocking itself, and I again have to manually unlock it. The car didnt come with a remoteless entry key fob when i bought it. Just two keys, one to lock and unlock doors and one to start car. Of course the alarm i had installed came with it and a kill switch.

A: sounds like bad wireing

Q: Can anybody give me info on the Camaro used in the movie Transformers?
I’m looking for information (year, make, model, etc.) on the yellow Camaro featured in the movie Transformers. Can anybody tell me more about this car? Thanks!

A: Yea, the Transformers movie camaro “bumblebee” was’nt even the prototype camaro.. it was a fiberglass camaro body built on an 06′ Pontiac GTO Chassis. The fuel top didnt move, the air conditioning didnt work and the gauges were just for show. However, the wheels in the back were 22″ and in the front, 21″. Bumblebee was assembled by Saleen. The car had the 2007 corvette z06 7.0 liter, 505hp v8 engine. It has been sold for aproximately 3.4 million dollars to a rich private owner who plans on showcasing the car at this years SEMA event.

Q: Looking for used used Camaro around $10,000 little work to be done if any?
Looking for a used Camero any where from $0 to $15,000, and if there is any work to be done on it i want to keep it under $3,000

A: Hi, Your best bet to find one at a cheap price would be at an auto auction. There are public auto auctions in every state, so you shouldn’t have to go too far to find one near you. I’ll give you a link to a site that has more info about auctions if you want to check it out.

Good Luck

Q: how much does should a used stock air intake for a camaro cost?
the camaro that i bought recently came with a off brand piece of crap cold air intake(it was build realy cheap and wasnt taken care of very well) and i was wondering how much a good used one should cost?
it is a 1994 z-28

A: You should be able to pick one for $10-$15 from Pull-A-Part or your local junk yard if you can find one. I would sell you my old one but shipping would cost as much as getting one from a junkyard. Autozone also has Specture customizable intake parts where you can make your own cold air intake all for about $50.

Q: what kind of camaro was used for bumble bee in transformers?
Not the new version, when he copied that nice one, but how he looked at the start and just bought x]

A: Roughly 1974-77 Camaro. Basically, mid-late 70s.

If you had Googled “Bumblebee”…..you would have found all the info you could have possibly needed.

Q: What paint (codes) are used in the yellow camaro bumblebee in transformers?
A friend of mine wants to get the same type of paint job that they gave the camaro Bumblebee in the transformers movie(2007), but we cant find any kind of paint codes to give to the shop

A: Me too, Have you found anything yet??

Q: how much does a used steering column for an 89 camaro cost?
ive heard that it would be much cheaper and easier to just buy a used steering column for my 89 camaro instead of buying parts and repairing the one ive got…and id also kno were i could buy one so if you dont mind give me a link….thanks

A: www.car-part.com best prices near you

Q: How much would a used 2005 Chevy Camaro be?
ok how much would a used 2003 be
ok how much would a used 2003 be
how much would a used 2002 camaro be?

A: Scruffy please use the link posted. This link will show you kelly blue book price on the different models of the 2002 camaro. Please excuse some of the rude posters.Best of luck.http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/Spec_Glance.aspx?year=2002&make=Chevrolet&model=Camaro&trimid=-1

Q: 1979 used Camaro rally rims?
I currently have four 14×7 rally wheels off of a 1979 Camaro. These rims are referenced as color keyed rally rims that was an option in 1979 They are used but in good condition. What should I ask for them IF I were to sell them? I want to ask a fair market price. Any assistance would be appreciated.

A: Craigs list with pictures my guess would be 150.00 but dosen’t hurt to ask what you think and take a or best offer, sell high if you can OBO are magic words to someone in the market

Q: How much will a used standard 2010 Camaro LS be worth in 2-3 years?
With avg mileage for this amount of time, no custom paint jobs, etc. Pretty much the standard model

A: Yahoo estimates a 2010 Camaro LS will depreciate $9055 in the first two years and $2686 the third year for a total of $11741 of depreciation. So I would expect a price around $15,000

Q: How do Install a used supercharger on my camaro?
I want to get an eaton m90 supercharger off ebay and stick it on my 1985 Z-28. It’s the 5.0 liter v-8 and I’ve got a Holley 650 carb. Is there an install kit or is it just know-how and fabrication?

A: just make sure it for the small block chevy and there should be no fabrication it should be just a bolt on kit

Find new and used 2011 Camaro for sale at our automotive classifieds and Cars for Sale website Classifieds.Sub5Zero.com

Q: Battle of the Base Model Giants. Mustang V6 vs Camaro V6 vs Challenger V6?
The internet is amass with V8 queries into what muscle car is the best and what is to be the best when the new 2011 Mustang debuts with the new V8 5.0.

My question is what is the best basic model ( Mini Muscle ) car would be? The 2011 Mustang with the new 3.7L V6 good for over 300hp – the 2011 Camaro with the continuing 3.6L 304hp V6 – or the 2011 Challenger with the continuing 3.5L 250hp V6.

Of course, these are the sales leaders and I am curious how many people will respond to the question about the base model of their pulse pounding vehicles.

Magazines say that the Challenger is the old school cruiser, with old school handeling and looks. – The Camaro is a scorcher V6 and fun to drive hard but has so so interior quality – and the 2010 Mustang was the sleeper with the antique 200hp V6, but with the new 300+ hp V6 I believe the Mustang is the new game changer for the V6 Mills.

What you think?
Tannor – You will be very happy to hear that I own a 2004 Ford Mustang Convertible with the V6. Despite what every else was telling me, I put a chrome ” V 6 ” Badge on the flank and am keeping a single pipe on the car. I love Mustangs but can’t afford the insurance on the V8. If you don’t pose like a V8, you don’t get laughed at

B.T.W. Not planning on buying one, I was just curious what everybody thought. Glad Mustang is ahead with the first 2 answers going for the pony.

A: If you are looking for one I would recommend the V6 mustang or Camaro. Mustang if you plan on upgrading engine parts in the future, or camaro or mustang stock. I would never take the challenger because it lacks performance to the extreme. You are better off with the V6 mustang overall though because the camaro and challenger are supposed to have big burley V8’s, so if you show up with a V6 you look like a poser. With the mustang it wont matter because the 2011 V6 is putting out numbers close to that of the 2010 V8. Save yourself embarrassment and go with the mustang. Personally I am a camaro guy, but not the V6, dont be a poser. I like the mustang for its V6, hope I helped.

Q: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro?
I currently drive a 2002 PT Cruiser, and am still making payments on it, i think i still owe around 5,000 on it. I plan on buying a Camaro next August during the blowout sales to make room for the 2011 cars. So by then ill probly owe 2900 or so on it. Do you think the dealer will buy the car off me? I have excellent credit and a steady job. And is the car worth the high payments, and high insurance rates?

A: There are several places lik Cars.com and JD Byrider that may “buy” your present car from you. The Chevrolet dealer will most assuredly take it on trade. You would probably be better off selling it outright yourself, but I am almost positive they will take it on trade.

The new Camaro is very nice, and the insurance may not be as high as you think. Check it out to be sure.

Q: Should i buy a 2010 mustang or wait for the 2011?
Im planing to buy a new car and well i want a mustang the problem is that my dad dont want me to get the v8 sow im gonna have to go with v6 im planning to get the pony package with moonrof and gps my question is that should i buy the 2010 with 210 hp or wait for the 2011 that is supposed to have a new motor called ecoboost that will give 315 hp more than the camaro v6. Do you know if this is true and when will it be on sale supposly i hear that starting in spring but not sure

A: Get the 2010. The “so called ecoboost” is NOT gonna be Worth the extra $$$’s they’ll soak Us with- when the ’11’s come out. The 2010’s are a GOOD car, & they’re as Cheap as they’re gonna GET- before the Prices start heading up- this Winter…

Q: 2010 Camaro or 2011 Mustang?
Which should I buy? I’m thinking I could get a used Camaro for around the same price as the V6 base Mustang, but which is a better choice overall?

A: The mustang is a consistent and has been built for years and years in a row. There are lots of model options to choose from on each side. The Camaro is a better car for fuel efficiency and horsepower. Even if you argue power, the Ford sucks more fuel all the time. The Camaro V-8 is modern miracle for horsepower and fuel efficiency.

Lets make it easy, there are a million Mustangs out there and they become boring to look at. The Camaro is well built and seriously good looking. Go Camaro and forget about getting lost in the shuffle with common Mustang.

Q: how much will the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe worth?
the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro is coming out in the spring of 2009. when it first comes out the price will be $23,000.00 (23 thousand dollars). I was wondering how much the price will drop by 2011. for how much would i be able to buy a used 2010 Camaro Coupe in 2011?

A: From the dealer as a trade in? Not too much. But if you can find one locally- it will have lost tons of value. You could probabley find one for 14 locally after a year. At the dealer, a couple grand less- probabley 18 at the least.

Q: which car is faster the 2011 mustang 2009 dodge challenger srt8 or the 2010 camaro ss i need specific info?
what are their top speeds
what are their prices new and used prices
help i cant decide which to buy helpppppppppp

A: This is one’s for the actual dealerships, guy. And I doubt you’ll be hitting the top speeds on public roads…

Q: 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS price in 2011?
Im thinking mileage around 40,000, as i said it has the RS package, good condition no scratches dents looks new and im thinking Used from a chevy dealer or any other dealer thats selling it which means it will smell like new.
OF COURSE USED, because its 2011 not 2009/2010

A: Depends on the demand. If it stays high it could cost almost as much as a brand new car. If it drops to nothing it could be very cheap.

Q: Would a bright red chevy camaro be a cute car for a 16 yr old girl?
okay well im turning 16 soon and my mom recently won a check to chevy place to pick out a car. Im thinkin about a camaro because i really want a sports car. in 2011 there is supposed to be a convertible camaro so do you think i should get that as my car? the other option would be to let her pick out a car and her sell our other car and use the money to get me a different car. Oh and if this helps on a car decision.. im 5′7 with long sandy blonde hair and im kinda girly but i play softball so do you think this would be a cute car for me?

A: Go with a yugo for your first car and let your mom enjoy her winnings since she will be the one that will have to pay the taxes on the complete car at the end of the year……

Q: Is this considered Police Harassment? (Please Help)?
This may be lengthy, but please read all of the details and give me your opinion on the matter.

Recently I was pulled over by an officer after midnight leaving a bar (not drunk – two beers). I wasn’t speeding, nor breaking any other law. I noticed him go out of his way to get over and make a right turn and follow me as I passed him in a 4way intersection. Before I go any further, I’d like to point out that I drive a 3rd generation Camaro, and typically they are a stereotyped vehicle. At least out here in St. Louis, especially if you’re a black guy with dreads – i.e. you probably will get pulled over at least 1-2 times week for no reason at all. Moving on, he claimed he pulled me over because my plates weren’t registered to the car, that they were registered to a “Cavalier” (no details on year, etc) – I haven’t even had the car a year and the plates are brand new, don’t expire until 2011, futhermore no other cop has ever said that. My friends said he shouldn’t even be driving around just checking plates anyway, not sure if there’s any truth in that however. note: he only gave me one ticket (failed to register with DMV or something similar) & never asked for my insurance.

Unfortunately, I had warrants. So he gots his off and arrested me. Prior to being placed in his patrol car I asked him could I use the bathroom, the liquor decided it wanted to run through me at the most inconvenient time. Fast forwarding, after asking nicely more than once, I was able to reach and free me groin area and urinated in the backseat of his patrol car.

Few days later, I bailed out. Like a dumbass I drove down the same street around the same time a night after. As I was driving, I noticed a cop parked on the side with their lights off, so I made sure I wasn’t speeding. I got pulled over anyway and guess what? Same fucking cop. Of course, at this point I was certain I was pulled over simply because he knew it was my Camaro. The conversation went something like this… Officer: You were pulled over for speeding, blah blah… Me: Have we met before? (not trying to be funny) Officer: Yeah, you’re the asshole that pissed all over my backseat. Me: Great… Officer: Yeah, you’re going back to jail buddy!

Literally 25 minutes goes by, figured he was calling for backup or searching for the smallest reason to arrest me again, he comes back to the car and gives me three tickets:

Speeding 64/40 – Pure bullshit. I wasn’t speeding before I saw him on the side and I made damn sure I wasn’t after. And at the time, my fuel injectors were bad. I couldn’t speed if I wanted to, if I mashed the gas it accelerated like an old minivan (have mechanic repair and diagnostic receipt to prove that it was fixed after this incident.)

“Your plates” – as he said.

No proof of Insurance – More bullshit, swear to god this is the second time he didn’t even ask for insurance card, but I got a ticket for it this time. Mind you my full coverage insurance card was with me both times. I asked the officer if I could show him my card so he could take that ticket back, he refused. Officer: Here’s your tickets, and your court date (blah blah) Me: I wasn’t speeding, and you never asked me for insurance. Officer: I did ask you for insurance. Me: No you didn’t, you didn’t ask on our first encounter either (I would have gotten a ticket for it then right?) Officer: Are you going to take these tickets? Me: No. *officer throws them on me in my car* – I swear on my grandfathers grave.

I spoke politely the entire time, never insulted him or became upset, he insisted on being a dick. I had my passenger record with her phone when he came back with the tickets, I feared he was going to do something ignorant. I have most of the incident recorded, mostly audio.

A: Yes this is police harrsement, you have plenty of edvince to sue this guy..
